Sept 9- Robert E. Lee 50th anniversary homecoming parade and other homecoming weekend activities.

Sept 9- 8th Annual American Tribute at Memorial Garden Park, 6pm.  Sponsored by American State Bank.

Sept. 11- Midland ISD Education Foundation benefit concert with Three Dog Night.  Tickets and info at 432-689-1982 or www.midlandisd.net.  Tickets go on sale in August.

Sept. 11- Graham Central Station with Give2theTroops are collecting goods to be sent to soldiers.  Items like, toiletries, batteries, DVD movies and games new or used, snack items, airfresheners, flashlights and other.

Sept 12- St Paul Methodist joins with many other area churchs in celebrating National Back to CHurch Sunday.  At St. Paul 4501 W Thomason in Midland, services include Sunday School at 8:45 plus a 10 am Worship service.

thru Sept 30- MHS Band's textile recyling fundraisers.  Accepting clothing, shoes, purses and other household linen. (No bed pillows).  Look for the container on the MHS Tennis Court parking lot.   Please bag or box your donations.

Oct 2- Greenwood's Fall Rangerfest is looking for sponsors and donations NOW.  The festival sponsored by  Greenwood Parent-Teacher Council.  296-3306 or 300-0188
